
TASTE OF LONDON
We recently participated in Taste of London, a weekend of culinary delights for foodies in Regent’s Park.
The weekend was great fun and our chermoula baked sea trout won the bronze award for Best in Taste 2010 judged by Kate Spicer, Tom Parker Bowles,
Bill Knott and Charles Campion. In our enthusiasm we've signed up for Taste of Christmas 2010.

SUSTAINABLE RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION
When we became a part of the Sustainable Restaurant Association, part of our pledge was to update you on our progress and to use local producers. To this end we’re now stocking Jude’s Ice Cream in our shop. To find out more about Jude’s Ice Cream check out their rather lovely website.
In a bid to reduce emissions we order our packaging from Cafe Connections and HS French Flint; local companies who deliver to us monthly. In the kitchen, we’ve continued to recycle all food waste, card and plastic and we’ve been returning packaging to our suppliers to be reused or recycled. Our brand new coffee suppliers are just around the corner and deliver on foot. Can’t get greener than that! Read on for more info.
CARAVAN COFFEE
We have recently begun to serve Caravan Coffee.
Caravan are based in Exmouth Market and roast their coffee on site daily using Arabica beans ethically sourced from around the world.

HOMEMADE @ THE PANTRY
We are now stocking delicious homemade cordials in the shop.
You can choose from Watermelon and Elderflower or Lemongrass and Lime.
Also expect to find bircher muesli, panna cottas,
spiced seeds and dried fruit pots among our broadening range of homemade products.
THE MODERN PANTRY IS TWO!
On the 12th of August we celebrated our second birthday! We’ve all enjoyed an amazing two years here and we'd like to thank all our lovely customers who have made The Modern Pantry such a success.
SERESIN WINE DINNER
We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting another Seresin Wine Dinner at 7pm Tuesday October 19th. Anna has created a stunning menu to complement wines including the Seresin Raupo Creek Pinot Noir 2007 and the Memento Riesling 2009.
